Chisholm, Anand and O’Hearn announced as Neurology Staff Employees of the Quarter

Staff Employee of the Quarter Q3 FY24

The Department of Neurology congratulations three staff members for being awarded the Neurology Staff Employees of the Quarter for Q3 FY24. For the first time, the department accepted nominations for three award categories in an effort to highlight the dedication and accomplishments of our staff members — clinical, research and administration.

Clinical Staff Employee of the Quarter

Tina Chisholm

Supervisor Clinical Support Services
Neuromuscle Clinical Lab

Tina has gone above and beyond as a supervisor and coworker. She always makes sure everyone has what they need, has advice and guidance, and is very hard working. She always puts in extra time when it’s needed and takes on challenges head on. I appreciate her and look up to her so much.

Research Staff Employee of the Quarter

Pallavi Anand

Senior Clinical Research Coordinator
Pediatric Neuromuscle

Pallavi always provides a helping hand. She prioritizes everyone above herself. Her patients and families love her. She has extensive knowledge that serves our team abundantly. She is kind, calm and collective. She is such a giver and is always trying to make sure we are taken care of weather that be coffee, hot chocolate, lunch or a birthday surprise. Pallavi has been apart of 10 different neuromuscle drug studies that have been FDA approved. She goes above and beyond and we love her!

Administration Staff Employee of the Quarter

Rebecca O’Hearn

Manager Patient Accounts

I have been nominating Rebecca every since the award program was introduced and said I would keep nominating her until she wins! I was a fairly new coder almost 2 years ago when Rebecca took a chance on hiring me. Shortly after I had to rearrange my work schedule quite often as my dad’s terminal cancer was progressing. I was worried how that would affect my job and Rebecca was nothing short of caring and understanding. She worked with me and never once made me feel like my family was less important than work. Her ability to give you a piece of mind in a bad time is really refreshing. So many things make her a great person to work with; she’s genuine, brilliant, funny, welcoming, and the list goes on. Working with Rebecca makes it feel less like work and more like a work family. She deserves this award not only for her dedication to her work and term, but also for how she treats everyone she crosses paths with. She is a true leader!
