We seek to improve diversity of all forms among our faculty, staff and trainees. In employee hiring, we are training people to serve as diversity advisors to guide search committees to foster equity in attracting, evaluating and hiring candidates.
In mentorship…
We are putting forward those who excel in mentoring, training those who want to develop the skills and being intentional about mentoring individuals from groups underrepresented in medicine.
In research…
We are expanding community engagement programs designed to help us focus research to serve community needs.

To mirror opportunities such as Grand Rounds that allow faculty to interact and learn from each other, we are creating similar quarterly events for staff.
