2023 Resource Fair Speaker

Sean Gold is an advocate for people with disabilities, a public speaker, podcast host, and president of the disability-owned nonprofit organization, Coalition in Truth and Independence. He considers his faith, family, and friends the most important things in his life. His physical disability is Cerebral Palsy, and he has had a Tracheostomy Breathing Tube since he was only one and a half years old. Even though he’s nonverbal, it doesn’t get in the way of his love of creative writing and storytelling.

Kelly is an experienced Social Worker & Child Life Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. She has a deep interest in helping patients with developmental and chronic conditions transition into adulthood with the ability to advocate for their needs. Her work aims to help individuals live in the community instead of being placed in institutions later in life. She is a community and social services professional with a MSW focused in Disability/Clinical Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis.

Chris Worth is a community organizer, artist and educator. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Missouri St. Louis, where his research interests include the positive power of calculated risk on cognitive development over the life course.
