Tasha Renner-Chavez began working at Washington University in 2011 in the Department of Psychiatry as a medical records clerk. Over the years, she advanced to become the lead scheduler and credentialing assistant. When she discovered credentialing, she knew it was the right fit and eventually joined the Department of Neurology in January 2023. Moving to Neurology has been the best choice. She has felt welcomed and appreciated from the start, and she enjoys how the role keeps her on her toes.
Outside of work, Tasha and her husband (Neal) enjoy traveling, camping, and hiking. This past year, they checked off a bucket list adventure by hiking into the Grand Canyon. Her husband is an ultra-marathon runner, which she loves because it means she gets to sit back, watch and relax! At home, they love spending time with their cats. Fall is her favorite season—thanks to the cooler weather and fewer bugs—which makes it perfect for enjoying the outdoors.
