Rebecca “Becky” Liddick came from Washington state to Missouri in 2007. And two weeks later, she became a member of the Washington University in St. Louis family. She is now a new patient coordinator for the Department of Neurology.
Prior to moving to St. Louis, Liddick was a foster parent and a caregiver for the elderly and those with special needs. She really enjoys helping others.
On the weekends, Liddick spends as much time with her six grandchildren as she can. They do lots of fun activities together like going to parks and skating. Liddick said her grandchildren help keep her young.
In January 2024, Liddick was announced as the Department of Neurology Staff Employee of the Quarter for Q2 FY 24. She was nominated by faculty and staff because of her wealth of knowledge, willingness to help no matter what and for being a joy to be around. Those who nominated her, in particular, highlighted how she delivers information to new patients in a calm and comforting way, letting them know they are cared about.
