Offering ACGME and AASM accredited education, this one-year fellowship provides broad-based training in adult and pediatric sleep medicine. Fellows learn alongside experts in neurology, pulmonology, critical care, otolaryngology, psychiatry and behavioral therapy, supported by a top-ranked hospital affiliation and a multidisciplinary approach that meets the highest national standards for patient care.

Combining clinical excellence with groundbreaking research, our center is one of the nation’s largest and most respected multidisciplinary sleep centers. Our nationally recognized physicians, trained across specialties including neurology, pulmonology, psychiatry and otolaryngology, collaborate to deliver comprehensive care for sleep disorders. As an AASM-accredited center affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital, we offer both outpatient and inpatient sleep studies, supported by a dedicated team of nurses and technologists committed to improving sleep health.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

Founded in 1879, St. Louis Children's Hospital is one of the premier children's hospitals in the United States. It serves not just the children of St. Louis, but children across the world. The hospital provides a full range of pediatric services to the St. Louis metropolitan area and a primary service region covering six states. As the pediatric teaching hospital for WashU Medicine, the hospital offers nationally recognized programs for physician training and research.

Leading the way in rare neuroimmunological care, our center specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMO) and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) — two immune-mediated conditions that can mimic multiple sclerosis but require distinct therapies. Through expert clinical care, advanced diagnostics and innovative clinical trials, our team ensures patients receive accurate diagnoses and access to the most novel treatments available, supported by strong collaborations across the Washington University Medical Campus.

Harnessing cutting-edge imaging and AI technologies, our lab is dedicated to advancing epilepsy research with a focus on refractory cases. By integrating neuroimaging modalities such as MRI, PET and EEG with machine learning approaches, we aim to uncover the underlying mechanisms of treatment-resistant epilepsy. Our ultimate goal is to improve patient outcomes by identifying predictive neurological markers and enhancing clinical care through data-driven insights.
