Inaugural 7T MRI Symposium: Best Practices and Innovation in Neuroimaging

9:00 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
EPNEC Seminar Room B

This inaugural 7T MRI symposium brings together international leaders in ultra-high-field MRI research. The two-day event will cover key advancements in 7T MRI, including high-spatial and temporal-resolution fMRI, optimized hardware design, AI-powered magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (MRSI), novel sodium imaging techniques, infant imaging at 7T, advanced pTx implementation for high-field applications, and methodological innovations for improving imaging quality and reproducibility. It will serve as a vital platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, strengthening the impact of 7T MRI research within the WashU neuroimaging community.

This symposium is sponsored by the following WashU departments and centers: Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (Wendell G. Scott Lectureship), McDonnell Center for Systems Neuroscience, and the Departments of Psychological and Brain Science, Psychiatry (Samuel Guze Lectureship), Neurology, Neuroscience and Neurosurgery.

While the symposium’s in-person attendance has reached capacity, you can still register to attend via Zoom.
