Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future: The Story of Desegregation at WashU & BJC

12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
MCC, 9th floor, room 9502

History isn’t just about the past—it shapes our present and future. This session is an opportunity to engage with the Desegregation History Exhibit, a training tool designed to deepen understanding of systemic racism, acknowledge harm, and spark conversations on racial justice.

Through a guided exhibit visit and facilitated discussion, participants will explore stories of resilience, systemic barriers, and the ongoing pursuit of equity in healthcare and education. The program encourages reflection on restorative justice and how historical narratives shape institutional change today. Join us in honoring the past and working toward a more inclusive future.

Please get in touch with Yoko Kiyoi, Program Coordinator, at yokokiyoi@wustl.edu for any questions.
