 s.</p><p>Brain Attack! 2025: Comprehensive Community Stroke Care is planned
  and designed inter-professionally\, by and for emergency medicine physicia
 ns\, neurologists\, neurosurgeons\, primary care physicians\, internists\, 
 pharmacists\, neuroscience and emergency medicine nurses\, and may be of in
 terest to EMS providers\, hospital administrators and other health professi
 onals who want to enhance their knowledge of the management of patients wit
 h cerebrovascular diseases. This 6-hour hybrid course will provide educatio
 n through lectures with dedicated Q & A time\, case presentations\, and pan
 el discussions. Learners will understand how to optimize stroke systems of 
 care by applying recent guidelines\, improving triage and management\, sele
 cting appropriate neuroimaging\, and identifying candidates for thrombolysi
 s and thrombectomy. They will also address socioeconomic disparities\, enha
 nce access to care\, and implement effective post-stroke rehabilitation str
 ategies. The goal of this activity is to enhance knowledge\, skills/strateg
 y\, performance\, and patient care.</p><ul><li>Explain the importance of or
 ganized stroke networks of care.</li><li>Analyze local stroke systems of ca
 re for opportunities for more efficient and effective patient triage and ma
 nagement.</li><li>Apply recent updates in   triaging the acute stroke patie
 nt.</li><li>Incorporate into clinical practice the latest American Heart As
 sociation guidelines for the management of acute ischemic stroke\, manageme
 nt of intracerebral hemorrhage\, and secondary stroke prevention.</li><li>I
 nterpret latest acute stroke imaging techniques and select appropriate neur
 oimaging to identify patients with stroke and candidates for mechanical thr
 ombectomy.</li><li>Define patients who are candidates for thrombolysis and 
 mechanical thrombectomy.</li><li>Discuss Socioeconomic Disparities in acute
  stroke care and best community practices to enhance access to care</li><li
