Three members of WashU Medicine Neurology have been nominated and elected into the WashU Medicine Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Honor Medical Society:

  • Brendan Lucey, MD (faculty)
  • Asher Albertson, MD, PhD (alumni)
  • Tanner Hoke, MD (house officer)

AΩA is a national organization — founded in 1902 — that values high quality patient care, leadership, service and scholarship. The Society’s aims are “the promotion of scholarship and research in medical schools; the encouragement of high standard of character and conduct among the medical students and graduates; and the recognition of high attainment in medical science, practice, and related fields.” WashU Medicine’s chapter was founded in 1905 and has a current membership of over 400 distinguished physicians.
